On the afternoon of November 15, 2022, Deputy Mayor Zhang Qiao of Suzhou Municipal Government led a delegation to Kunshan for an inspection tour of talent-driven sci-tech innovation enterprises. The visit was accompanied throughout by Kunshan municipal leaders, with key officials from the Kunshan Science and Technology Bureau and relevant leaders from Kunshan Economic Development Zone in full attendance and participation.

During the visit, Deputy Mayor Zhang Qiao's delegation conducted an inspection tour at Kunshan Yiyuan Medical Technology. Chairman Zhang Lanyong presented the company's development history to the delegation, with particular emphasis on Yiyuan's "decade-long dedication to perfecting its craft" and its determination to break foreign monopolies in CT X-ray tube technology. He further detailed Yiyuan's initiatives in recruiting international talent and establishing technical collaborations with key countries.

Deputy Mayor Zhang Qiao highly commended Yiyuan Medical's achievements in attracting innovative entrepreneurial talents and building a high-quality talent team. He emphasized that as a core component of CT equipment, CT X-ray tubes are strategically crucial to China's healthcare development, and stressed that such critical technologies must not remain monopolized by foreign companies indefinitely.

Upon learning that Yiyuan is currently a "Gazelle Cultivation Enterprise" in Suzhou, Deputy Mayor Zhang encouraged the company to strengthen its competitiveness and scale new heights, aiming to soon shed the "Cultivation" label and become a full-fledged national-level gazelle enterprise. He also expressed his wishes for Yiyuan's early success in listing on the STAR Market (China's Sci-Tech Innovation Board).

Deputy Mayor Zhang instructed relevant departments on-site to provide strong policy support for Kunshan Yiyuan in talent recruitment initiatives. He emphasized that self-reliance and independent innovation are indispensable qualities for technology-driven enterprises, and represent the fundamental path to achieving China's sci-tech advancement.
