On March 17, 2020, the 5.3MHU CT tube produced by Kunshan Yiyuan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. joined and GE’s CT tube to be selected as the 5th batch of urgent medical equipment catalog for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 announced by China Medical Equipment Association.
Kunshan Yiyuan 5.3MHU CT tube’s performance parameters are consistent with similar foreign products, while being able to provide a smaller focal spot size and improve image resolution to obtain better images. This product has undergone 5 patent applications, including 2 invention applications, and 3 patents have been granted. In order to achieve matching with different whole machines, the standard tube insert is matched with different tube housing to form the 5.3MHU series CT tube, which is applicable to most of the models on the market. Up to now, the 5.3MHU CT tubes produced by Kunshan Yiyuan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. have been used in more than twenty hospitals in China and are in good condition and well received by customers.
Kunshan Yiyuan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. is currently the only high-tech company specializing in the development and production of the full range of medical CT tubes (8.0MHU, 5.3MHU, 3.5MHU, etc.) in China. The company signed the strong foundation project "Medical 5MHU or more high energy X-ray tube" with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on June 15, 2016, and the project implementation period is three years. From July 2016 to July 2018, the design and manufacturing process verification of CT tube was started, and the company completed the design improvement and function evaluation, life test, client test, etc. during this period. Among them in April 2018, Yiyuan passed CFDA type experiment at one time, and the product performance was well received by experts. At the end of January 2019, Yiyuan obtained the medical device registration certificate. In June 2019, Yiyuan passed the acceptance of strong foundation project. At present, the high thermal capacity 8MHU CT tube and 3.5MHU CT tube are under registration, which are expected to be ready for mass production around October 2020.
