The 2023 China Medical Equipment Conference & Exhibition took center stage at Chongqing International Expo Center from April 25-28, organized by the China Association of Medical Equipment. Featuring participation from 600+ exhibitors, the event became a powerhouse of medical innovation where Kunshan Yiyuan's product lineup made a striking impression in the core components exhibition sector.

"Ten years of sharpening a sword brings the fragrance of plum blossoms." Kunshan Yiyuan made a splendid appearance with a range of products, including the mature market-ready CT X-ray tube series of 3.5MHU, 5.3MHU, and 8MHU, as well as multiple new products such as the 3.5MHU Plus and 6.3MHU, which are set to be launched soon. These offerings attracted numerous attendees to stop by for detailed exchanges and discussions.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the National Health Commission (NHC), the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Association of Medical Equipment, and the Instrumentation Technology and Economic Institute visited the Yiyuan booth for guidance. Mr. Zhang Lanyong, Chairman of the Board, and Ms. Du Xiaoqin, Director and Deputy General Manager, provided a concise report on Kunshan Yiyuan's technological breakthroughs, efforts to break foreign monopolies, long-term accumulation, and the current industry landscape.

After a decade of dedicated research and development, Yiyuan's CT X-ray tubes have achieved remarkable success in just over three years on the market, with installations in nearly 500 hospitals and widespread acclaim for product quality. The company has seized the opportunity presented by the rapid growth of domestic CT manufacturers, developing tube products that meet 90% of their needs.

The visiting leaders highly commended Kunshan Yiyuan's achievements and its product development strategy. They expressed strong expectations for the localization of critical "chokepoint" components and encouraged the company to persist in its mission, remain true to its original aspirations, and continue leading the charge in the domestic production of CT X-ray tubes.

Ms. Du Xiaoqin, Director and Deputy General Manager of Kunshan Yiyuan, delivered an insightful speech titled "Craftsman Spirit, Forging a Chinese CT X-ray Tube Brand" at the 5th Summit Forum on Innovation and Development of Critical Core Components in Medical Equipment.

She emphasized that the company upholds the craftsmanship spirit of "a decade of sharpening a single sword" and adheres to the quality philosophy of "focusing on the process, crafting with dedication, and pursuing excellence." The performance metrics of Yiyuan’s products are on par with imported counterparts, demonstrating no significant differences in key specifications.

Regarding the future sustainable development of core components, Ms. Du Xiaoqin called on OEMs to avoid using encryption or other restrictive measures that hinder the promotion and application of domestic core parts. Her remarks resonated strongly with fellow core component manufacturers at the forum and garnered high-level attention and endorsement from attending officials.
